DEMILITARIZED ZONE

Early morning depart to DMZ at the 17th Parallel which was once the demarcation line between Northern and Southern of Vietnam. Visit Ben Hai River, Vinh Moc Underground Tunnels built during the American War. Picnic lunch on Cua Tung Beach. On the way back stopover at the Ancient Citadel of Quang Tri, former American bases and vestiges of the war.

BACH MA NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to Cau Hai. Drive uphill to the top of Bach Ma mountain (1400 m above the sea level). Trekking (intermediate level of trekking with incline gain of approximately 500 metres) approximately 3 km into the primitive forest, enjoying the scenery of the forest, birds singing and  Do Quyen Waterfall which is 300 m hight. Picnic lunch at the fall. Visit Bao An Villa built by Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam and Ngu Ho (Group of 5 lakes) and ocean terrace. Drive back Hue City.

Notice : For safety reasons we only recommend this tour between March and September as the trekking trails are slippery and uncomfortable during the wet season (OCT - FEB).
